Travel Organizer Traveldesign | Experiences & Contact

Traveldesign is a specialized travel organizer from Traunstein that has stood for individual long-distance travel, personal consultation, and carefully planned small group trips for many years. The brand emerged from an early specialization in Costa Rica: As early as 1998, Detlev Kirst, who previously worked as a study trip leader focusing on Latin America, began with individual consultation and the arrangement of hotels and rental cars. From this approach, the Costa Rica travel service initially developed; since 2009, the company has operated under the name Traveldesign. Today, the office is located at Lambergstraße 35 in Traunstein and caters to people who do not seek standard trips but rather a journey that fits their interests, pace, and budget. The website focuses on individual trips, small groups, and destinations such as Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, Cuba, Namibia, South Africa, Seychelles, and La Réunion. This mix of specialization, expertise, and personal approach shapes the brand's profile and explains why the name Traveldesign is associated with consultation rather than mass offerings among many travelers. Traveldesign Experiences: What Customers Appreciate About Organization and Consultation

Those looking for Traveldesign experiences will find a recurring pattern on the website: Travelers highlight the organization, calm accompaniment, good selection of accommodations, and the expertise of the tour guides. Several customer reports describe that transfers were punctual, processes well-structured, and the travel itineraries well thought out. Beautiful lodges, suitable hotels, competent drivers and tour guides, as well as the feeling of being well taken care of on-site, are also mentioned. It is particularly striking that many feedbacks speak not only of a beautiful vacation but of a travel experience with substantive added value: The trips impart knowledge about nature, culture, and the country without feeling rushed. Especially in Costa Rica, but also in Peru, the Caribbean, or other destinations, it becomes clear that Traveldesign does not simply sell bookings but plans trips so that route, pace, and program fit together. These testimonials seem credible because they mention specific details: good hotels, reliable pickups, understandable tour guidance, and a process that provides calm and security even on longer trips. For seekers, this means: Traveldesign is especially appreciated where personal support and clean logistics are more important than a generic standard package. ([traveldesign.de](https://www.traveldesign.de/basisinformationen/kundenfeedback))

The tone of customer voices is also noteworthy. Many formulations revolve around the same core idea: The trip was intense but not overloaded; varied but not chaotic; personal but not improvised. This is a strong signal, especially for long-distance travel, as organization often determines whether a trip is experienced as exhausting or enriching. Traveldesign seems to set a clear focus here: small groups, reliable local partners, well-chosen accommodations, and a tour guide who truly knows the land and its people. The feedback on the website refers not only to Costa Rica but also to Caribbean trips, Peru, and other destinations. This creates the image of a provider that has built a loyal customer base over the years because it solves practical matters well while also enabling emotional experiences. This is precisely where the SEO value of this topic lies: Seekers want to know not only if the trip was beautiful but whether planning, support, and execution function at a high level. The published customer opinions provide strong evidence for this. ([traveldesign.de](https://www.traveldesign.de/basisinformationen/kundenfeedback))

Individual Trips to Costa Rica, Peru, and Other Destinations

The main focus of Traveldesign is clearly on individual long-distance travel. The homepage describes the company as a specialist for individual trips to Costa Rica, Latin America, Africa, and the Indian Ocean. In the country sections, it becomes evident how broad the actual offering is: Costa Rica is presented as a versatile natural paradise in Central America, Peru as a country with three very different natural regions, along with Cuba & the Caribbean, Ecuador, Namibia, South Africa, Seychelles, and La Réunion. This selection of destinations is particularly important for an SEO analysis because it shows that the search intention behind Traveldesign is not limited to a single country. Those searching for Traveldesign de or Traveldesign Costa Rica are often looking for a specialized provider with geographical depth, not just a general travel agency. Traveldesign meets this need with tailor-made trips where the route, hotel choice, and pace are adapted to the traveler's wishes. On Costa Rica pages, for example, there are mentions of hikes, canopy tours, rafting, boat trips, and relaxed walks in the rainforest, as well as beaches on the Caribbean and Pacific and trips with rental cars or interbus. This shows a high degree of content specialization and flexibility in trip design. ([traveldesign.de](https://www.traveldesign.de/))

Peru is also described in detail on the website and serves as a good example of how deeply Traveldesign applies country knowledge. The three major natural regions of Costa, Sierra, and Selva are emphasized, meaning coast, Andes, and Amazon region. High Andean peaks, the Huascarán National Park, the volcanoes around Arequipa, the Cusco region, the Manú National Park, the Amazon, and the cultural history with early cultures, Inca predecessors, and the Nazca lines are also mentioned. For travel enthusiasts, this is a strong signal because it shows that Traveldesign does not just advertise with beautiful images but tells stories about countries through nature, history, and experiential spaces. This builds trust among those planning a demanding long-distance trip who are not simply looking for the lowest price. The company thus combines travel consulting with country knowledge, which is particularly important for first-time visits to Costa Rica or Peru. The benefit is clear: Those traveling with Traveldesign receive not just a booking but a well-thought-out travel idea with cultural and scenic profiles. For search queries like individual trips, travel organizer Traunstein, or Traveldesign Peru, this is a central advantage. ([traveldesign.de](https://www.traveldesign.de/peru))

Small Group Trips with German-speaking Tour Guides

A second major focus of Traveldesign is small group trips. The website clearly explains what this means: Group trips are not understood here as large bus tours but as trips in small groups, usually with 6 or 8 to a maximum of 15 participants, often with no more than 12 guests. This point is particularly valuable for keyword analysis because users searching for small group trips often look for exactly this type of travel format: manageable, personal, flexible, and with enough time for individual wishes. Traveldesign uses minibuses that can also reach places where there is no room for large tour buses. Additionally, an experienced German-speaking tour guide accompanies the group and brings culture, landscape, and people closer. This combines two strengths that repeatedly emerge in customer voices: good organization and expert accompaniment. The small groups are therefore not a side aspect but a central product that addresses its own target audience. This includes travelers who do not want to plan alone but also do not seek mass events. This positioning makes Traveldesign unmistakable in the market. ([traveldesign.de](https://www.traveldesign.de/kategorie/kleingruppenreisen))

It is also interesting how diverse these small group trips appear on the website. In addition to Costa Rica, there are also trips to Peru, Ecuador, South Africa, Namibia, Madagascar, Uganda, Tanzania, Oman, and other countries. This means: Traveldesign offers the small group format not only for a single long-distance destination but as its own quality model for different continents. In practice, this is a strong selling point because the target group of small group travelers usually values trust, understanding, and safety. A German-speaking tour guide can not only translate but also explain contexts, categorize local peculiarities, and better resolve spontaneous situations. Especially for long-distance trips with multiple stops and changing accommodations, this is a real added value. For Traveldesign experience searches, it is therefore relevant that the tour guide, according to the website, not only accompanies but often works with extensive local knowledge and many years of experience. Those searching in the context of small group trips, German-speaking tour guides, or Costa Rica in a group will find an offering at Traveldesign that is precisely tailored to these wishes. ([traveldesign.de](https://www.traveldesign.de/kategorie/kleingruppenreisen))

Contact, Office Hours, and Consultation in Traunstein

For users with a clear booking intention, the contact information is particularly important. Traveldesign e.K. is located at Lambergstraße 35 in 83278 Traunstein. According to the imprint and contact page, the office is reachable Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00; from November to March, the office is also open on Saturdays from 10:00 to 12:00. Phone, fax, and email are clearly visible, and the contact page also features a travel inquiry form with fields for destination, departure date, return date, travel duration, flight information, personal data, interests, and budget. For seekers, this is important because it shows that Traveldesign not only writes inspiring content but also offers structured consultation. So, those searching for Traveldesign contact or travel agency Traunstein will find a specialized contact person who systematically takes inquiries and does not just sell standard packages. The mention of Instagram also shows that the company uses additional communication channels alongside traditional consultation. The location in Traunstein is particularly relevant for regional search queries, while the actual target group is obviously nationwide and beyond. ([traveldesign.de](https://www.traveldesign.de/basisinformationen/kontakt))

Content-wise, the contact page fits perfectly with the company's working method. The form does not simply ask for the desired destination but for concrete travel dates, flight status, travel companions, interests, and budget. This clearly indicates that Traveldesign values individual planning and not a one-time standard product. The office hours make it clear that personal consultation has a fixed place in the business model. At the same time, the website shows that Traveldesign is professionally organized in the background: There is a clear separation between consultation, travel documents, accounting, destination support, and tour guidance. This creates trust because customers do not fill out anonymous forms but come into contact with an experienced team. For SEO topics like Traveldesign de, Traveldesign Traunstein, and Traveldesign contact, this mix of local address and international orientation is central. It is also particularly valuable that the company not only accepts travel inquiries but also prepares them based on travel budget and desired dates. This creates the impression of a genuine custom-made experience that goes far beyond a mere online booking. ([traveldesign.de](https://www.traveldesign.de/basisinformationen/kontakt))

Travel Planning, Safety, and Service in the Background

A frequently underestimated but important aspect of travel organizers is the safety of the booking. Traveldesign informs on the website that the travel price is insured against insolvency through R&V Versicherung AG. At the same time, it is explained that security certificates are legally issued only for package tours and not for individual components such as just a rental car. This information is relevant for seekers because it creates transparency and shows that Traveldesign communicates the organizational and legal framework clearly. Those planning a long-distance trip want not only to see beautiful pictures but also to understand how the booking is secured. This also fits the structure of the team: Detlev Kirst personally accompanies trips in small groups and is regularly on-site in the destinations; Brigitte Spitzauer prepares travel documents; Isabelle Hehr is responsible for Costa Rica, South Africa, and Seychelles; Gabriela Kirst handles accounting and payment transactions; Geovana Puglisi is responsible for group trips worldwide; and Alvaro Jiménez works in Costa Rica as a tour guide and local contact. This team structure indicates a company that closely intertwines consulting, logistics, and local implementation. ([traveldesign.de](https://www.traveldesign.de/basisinformationen/reiseversicherung))

Additionally, there is a strong content value that Traveldesign communicates through its own experience: Detlev Kirst is not only an entrepreneur but also a travel book author. The homepage mentions that he has been in the market with the travel know-how Costa Rica for over 20 years, now in its 15th edition 2026/27, and that his travel guide to Peru was published in its 6th edition in 2024 and awarded the International Travel Book Award in 2025. Such information is important for SEO perception because it underscores expertise and authority. In the travel sector, not only sales performance counts but also content competence. Those who write books about travel destinations signal deep country knowledge and editorial care. This knowledge is reflected on the website in the destination pages: detailed descriptions, concrete travel examples, and clear information about accommodations, transport, and forms of experience. For users searching for traveldesign experiences or travel designer, this is a convincing indication that behind the name stands a genuine expert team and not just a generic marketing facade. ([traveldesign.de](https://www.traveldesign.de/))

Why Traveldesign is Convincing for Individual Long-Distance Travel

Traveldesign is particularly convincing when a trip is to be designed rather than just booked. The name is in this sense a program: It is about design in terms of planning, selection, and coordination. Those wishing to travel to Costa Rica do not receive a rigid template but can choose between rental cars, interbus, active programs with hikes, canopy tours, and rafting, or calmer options with boat trips and rainforest walks. Those planning Peru find a country that tells stories through nature, high mountains, the Amazon, and cultural history. Those preferring a small group receive a travel format that is small enough to remain personal and professional enough to handle complex routes well. The strength of Traveldesign therefore lies not only in individual destinations but in the combination of destination knowledge, many years of experience, clean organization, and personal consultation. The company appeals to people who want to rely on expertise for long-distance travel without sacrificing individuality. Particularly in this segment, the published customer feedback serves as an important proof: They show that planning, execution, and support are usually perceived very positively. ([traveldesign.de](https://www.traveldesign.de/costa-rica))

From an SEO perspective, the combination of location, specialization, and user intention is also strong. The search terms Traveldesign de, Traveldesign contact, Traveldesign Traunstein, individual trips, small group trips, and Traveldesign experiences cover different phases of the search journey: first discovery, then trust verification, and finally concrete contact. Traveldesign serves these phases very well because the website not only provides emotional travel images but also hard facts such as address, office hours, travel destinations, security, and team structure. The visibility is additionally supported by the company's professional authority, such as its long-standing market presence as a specialized organizer and the publications of Detlev Kirst. This is precisely why Traveldesign is interesting for people looking for a personal, well-planned, and culturally rich long-distance trip. The profile is clear: individual instead of anonymous, competent instead of arbitrary, specialized instead of interchangeable. Those inquiring at Traveldesign are usually not looking for a mass product but a trip with character. And this promise is consistently fulfilled on the website in several areas. I booked and completed a round trip with pre- and post-program in Costa Rica. Aside from a few minor issues, everything worked well organizationally. I was able to see and experience a lot. As a solo traveler, you can't recognize everything the country has to offer on your own. Therefore, the organized round trip with traveldesign was very informative and helpful. However, the impressions are so diverse that you might need a bit more time to process what you've seen. The booked pre- and post-program offered me a bit more individual opportunities to get to know the country, especially the stay in San Jose. In conclusion, to get targeted information about the country and nature, a round trip is necessary and sensible for the first time. For someone used to traveling alone, this form is at least a bit of an adjustment. The next destination can definitely be booked again with traveldesign.

We traveled with Traveldesign for the first time to Costa Rica. And for the first time with a small group. The trip was a dream. There are probably hardly any Germans who possess as much know-how about Costa Rica. There wasn't a corner that Mr. Kirst didn't know, and he had good connections everywhere. Therefore, we had an optimal route away from the tourist crowds, beautiful accommodations, all different. The price is fair.

Costa Rica top specialist. If you're planning a trip to Costa Rica, you can't overlook Detlef Kirst and his incredibly broad know-how. But even for Peru, we hardly know better providers for top-organized, excellent travel offers that leave the monotony of travel agencies far behind.
