A small but very nicely designed cultural center with exciting exhibitions. I think it deserves a lot of applause when regional artists are promoted on such a stage. We saw an exhibition by Mary Kim with very impressive objects.

Traunstein is, well, let’s start there, a place you don’t just pass by on your way south! A city definitely worth a visit because it’s a lovable & cozy spot. Not too big and not too small - beautifully winding and cozy! Every year, the Kulturforum Traunstein hosts open-air events in the courtyard of the monastery church with various artists. It's especially nice when the Spiders from the state capital perform - even the mayor of Traunstein, Dr. Christian Hümmer (see photo), wouldn't miss it! But as mentioned, even without the Spider Murphy Gang, it’s a place where you can really enjoy yourself!

Yesterday we had the 21st VdK district association meeting in Traunstein with new elections at the Kulturforum Klosterkirche in Traunstein! A huge compliment to the operators, the technical and organizational support by Hans Wembacher was exemplary and unmatched. Our over 120 delegates were thrilled with the ambiance and the technical support with projector & sound! A technically well-equipped event space with atmosphere and quality. Our caterer was Rudi Zeif from Sailer Keller, he just knows how to do it! Also, the “host” Hans-Peter Weiß took care of us and ensured that we were very satisfied guests! We will definitely come back, the VdK district board Traunstein says thank you for the perfect support and guidance of our VdK association meeting!
