Afro Dance Workshop in Traunstein: Rhythm, Energy and Movement
On Friday, November 27, 2026, the gymnastics room of the vhs at the Seiboldsdorfer Mühle in Traunstein will transform into a vibrant dance floor. Participants will experience two hours full of rhythm, dynamic movements, and African dance styles at the Afro Dance Workshop.
Exciting Steps and Powerful Movement Sequences
The workshop teaches basic steps and varied movement sequences from different Afro Dance styles. The focus is on joy in movement, musical body awareness, and personal dance expression. The energetic atmosphere combines collective dancing with individual elements.
Training for Coordination, Endurance, and Body Awareness
Afro Dance engages the entire body. The dance combinations improve coordination, endurance, and flexibility. At the same time, the training specifically strengthens the muscles and promotes a more conscious body awareness. There is no fixed formation: the movements arise from a mix of shared choreography and personal expression.

The Afro Dance Workshop is aimed at anyone who enjoys rhythm and movement. No prior knowledge is required. With captivating music, clear instructions, and lots of fun, an open training atmosphere arises where both beginners and experienced dance fans can discover their own style.
