Easter Vigil for Children in Erlstätt: Together towards the Easter Light
When the Christian community celebrates the resurrection of Jesus, the Easter Vigil becomes a special faith experience for the whole family. In the parish church of St. Peter and Paul in Thale in Erlstätt, children and their relatives are invited to experience the Easter liturgy in a child-friendly and communal atmosphere.
A Festive Evening Full of Light and Hope
The Easter Vigil combines reflection, prayer, and the joyful message of life. The warm light of a lantern or a candle in a glass creates a calm, symbol-laden atmosphere and makes the transition from darkness to the Easter light immediately tangible for children.
Religious Experience for Children and Families
The children's Easter Vigil provides young visitors with an understandable access to the Catholic faith practice. Liturgy, biblical Easter message, and the communal celebration in the parish community come together to form a spiritual community where families consciously experience the Christian festival cycle.
Participate with Lantern or Candle
For the celebration, it is requested to bring a lantern or a candle in a glass. The personal light will become a visible sign of hope and accompany the community through this special service on Holy Saturday.
A Place of Lived Community
The parish church of St. Peter and Paul in Thale is the liturgical center of the parish of Erlstätt. Here, families, children, and community members meet in prayer and experience Easter as a celebration of renewal, confidence, and community.
The children's Easter Vigil on Saturday, March 27, 2027, begins at 6:30 PM. Admission is intended for a service without ticket sales. Families from Erlstätt, Grabenstätt, and the surrounding area are warmly invited to celebrate this faith experience live.
