Evening Reflection with the Bible: Prayers for Aging
As everyday life becomes quieter, a space opens up for questions, gratitude, and trust. The online event Bible in the Evening invites participants to reflect on Psalm 71 under the guiding theme Satiated with Life – Prayers for Aging and to rediscover the Bible as a personal book of prayers.
Psalm 71 as a Companion
The focus is on engaging with Psalm 71. The biblical text connects life review, requests, hope, and the experience of being accompanied by God even in aging. Participants will receive impulses for personal spirituality and for the question of how prayer can provide support in different life phases.
Faith Conversation in Digital Community
Dr. Christine Abart will lead the evening as a speaker. The digital format allows for participation regardless of location and creates a protected space for reflection, theological exchange, and shared contemplation about the significance of biblical prayers.
Participation and Registration
The event will take place on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM online. The link to the online conference will be sent to registered participants in good time before the start. Registration is possible until November 6, 2026, with KBW Traunstein. Participation is free of charge. The organizer is the Catholic District Adult Education Center Traunstein in cooperation with the St. Rupert educational operation.
An evening for all who seek orientation in the Holy Scriptures, want to deepen prayer as a life companion, or wish to exchange thoughts on faith, maturity, and hope with others. Experience the calm atmosphere of a digital faith evening and let Psalm 71 speak to your own life.
