Understanding Conflicts, Finding Words, Creating Solutions
When conversations seem to be stuck, often the next sentence decides whether there will be new closeness or further distance. The training “Finding the Right Words in Conflicts” conveys practical ways to handle conflicts sustainably and constructively. The offer is aimed at anyone interested in the school environment – especially educators who accompany mediators.
Conflict Theory Meets Practical Exercise
In three online sessions, Angela Rees and Katharina Stadler link professional foundations with concrete exercises. The program includes conflict theory, the five phases of mediation, and the four components of Nonviolent Communication according to Marshall B. Rosenberg. This creates an event experience that connects specialized knowledge directly with everyday situations.
Role Plays for More Confidence in Conversations
The training becomes especially practice-oriented through role plays and the so-called NVC dance floor. Participants apply the presented theory to their own examples and thus develop more confidence for challenging conversation situations. An open learning atmosphere, focused audience mood, and interaction among participants create space for new perspectives.
Four Dates, One Common Learning Path
The theoretical units will take place online on October 14, 21, and 29, 2026, each from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The conclusion will be a practical afternoon on November 11, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM in the Kardinal-Döpfner-Saal of the Campus St. Michael in Traunstein. The event planning thus combines digital accessibility and personal interaction on-site.
For Schools, Education, and Interested Individuals
The course offering targets individuals who wish to accompany conflicts constructively, shape communication more consciously, and support mediation professionally. The organization is carried out by the Catholic Educational Institution Traunstein in cooperation with the School Pastoral Center Traunstein. The number of participants is limited to 10 to 20 people.
Conclusion
This training shows how tense situations can lead to a solution-oriented dialogue. Those who want to accompany conflicts more securely in practice rather than just analyze them will experience a well-founded and application-oriented further education here. Participation is free of charge; registration via FIBS or the KBW Traunstein is required by October 6, 2026.
