Finding the Right Words in Conflicts: Communication that Builds Bridges
When conversations seem to reach an impasse, often the next sentence decides between new closeness or further distance. The four-part training "Finding the Right Words in Conflicts" provides practical ways to sustainably and favorably address conflicts in Traunstein. The offer is aimed at all those interested in the school environment – especially educators who accompany mediators.
Conflict Theory Meets Practical Conversation Techniques
Angela Rees and Katharina Stadler combine foundational expertise with concrete exercises. The program includes conflict theory, the five phases of mediation, and the four components of Nonviolent Communication according to Marshall B. Rosenberg. The event planning thus creates a solid foundation for more confidence in challenging conversation situations.
Role Plays and NVC Dance Floor
The training is particularly practice-oriented through role plays and the so-called NVC dance floor. Participants apply the presented theory to their own examples and develop new perspectives for their professional and personal everyday lives. A focused learning atmosphere, active exchange, and immediate application characterize the event experience.
Four Dates for a Sustainable Learning Journey
The first three dates will take place online: on October 14, October 21, and October 29, 2026, each from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The final in-person date follows on November 11, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM in the Kardinal-Döpfner Hall of the Campus St. Michael in Traunstein. The combination of digital units and personal exchange connects flexible organization with direct encounters.
For Schools, Education, and All Interested Parties
The training is aimed at people who want to constructively accompany conflicts, communicate more consciously, or professionally support conflict resolution. The organizer is the Catholic Adult Education Center Traunstein in cooperation with the School Pastoral Center Traunstein. The KBW stands for meaningful, decentralized adult education in the Traunstein district and organizes a comprehensive educational program annually.
Conclusion
The training shows how tense situations can lead back to a solution-oriented dialogue. Those who want to not only analyze conflicts but also accompany conversations more safely and appreciatively will experience here a well-founded and application-oriented further education. Participation is free; registration via FIBS or the KBW Traunstein is required by October 6, 2026.
