On November 19, 2026, Werner Meier will be a guest at STUDIO 16. The cabaret artist and songwriter will read from his book „7 Cows 8 Children 40 Dumplings 1 Canapé“. The event combines a reading with music and is aimed at everyone who appreciates Bavarian wit, personal memories, and stories from contemporary history.
Bavarian Wit and Personal Stories
Werner Meier combines different forms of expression in his program: Passages from his book meet musical elements, cabaret observations, and stories with personal relevance. The focus is on the Bavarian language with its own rhythm, directness, and special humor.
The unusual book title „7 Cows 8 Children 40 Dumplings 1 Canapé“ gives the reading its distinctive name. The mentioned terms refer to a vivid, down-to-earth, and life-related narrative world. The reading is complemented by contemporary historical stories, connecting personal memories with broader developments.
