Advent Kick-off at the Town Square
With the opening of the Traunstein Christkindlmarket, the Advent season begins on November 20, 2026, in the city center of Traunstein. Visitors to the town square can expect a festive market with beautifully designed stalls, music, and a festive atmosphere.
The Christkindlmarket invites everyone to experience the start of the pre-Christmas season together. Guests can stroll through the market offerings between the festive stalls and enjoy the special atmosphere in the city center. Musical accompaniment provides a festive backdrop for the opening.
Christmas Spirit in the City Center
The town square is the centerpiece of the event. The market combines a visit to the Traunstein city center with a traditional Advent experience outdoors. Therefore, the opening is suitable for both a short visit and a leisurely stroll through the market.
