Pop sounds in Advent: The Duo Auftakt brings the Christkindlmarkt to life
On Thursday, December 17, 2026, the Duo Auftakt will provide a festive hour full of modern pop music on the Christkindlmarkt stage at the town square in Traunstein. From 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Diana Fast and Lilian Klapfenberger will combine well-known songs with personal stage presence and a relaxed Advent atmosphere.
Familiar pop moments amidst twinkling lights and mulled wine scent
The repertoire of Auftakt includes pop songs by Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and other international artists. The songs gain their own sound through the duo's two-part performance: catchy melodies, clear voices, and a direct connection to the audience characterize the stage performance.
Shared musical journey
Diana Fast and Lilian Klapfenberger met about ten years ago at the Trostberg music school. From their shared music-making developed the official Duo Auftakt. This developed musical collaboration is reflected in the synchronization of their voices and an interaction that feels equally light, familiar, and present.
Live music with a relaxed Advent atmosphere
The Christkindlmarkt stage provides the perfect setting for the concert: Amid festive lighting, market stalls, and wintry impressions, a live atmosphere is created that invites guests to linger. The program is aimed at everyone who wants to combine their visit to the Traunstein Christkindlmarkt with modern pop music and a compact concert experience.
Conclusion: Pop music as a musical Advent moment
The Duo Auftakt brings fresh pop energy to the Traunstein Christkindlmarkt on December 17. Visitors can expect an entertaining hour with well-known songs, harmonious singing, and a warm audience atmosphere in the open air. Those who want to experience Advent musically should enjoy this live performance on the Christkindlmarkt stage.
