Advent-Round-Walk Traunstein: Pause on a reflective city path
In the middle of Advent, the parish of St. Oswald invites you to a faith experience in the open air. A quiet path of reflection emerges in the spiritual community of the city, where prayer, impulses, and Christmas traditions touch the heart and senses.
Spiritual Stations – a Path of Peace
The walk leads over the war grave memorial at the Hohen Kreuz, to the Ettendorfer Kircherl, further over the Weinleite and the viaduct to the Traunweg and back to the city center. Different groups from the parish create the impulses. The Christmas texts and prayers open space for silence, gratitude, and hope.
Individually Walkable – about an hour
The route can be walked independently and at your own pace. Plan for about an hour; linger at the stations to experience the spiritual atmosphere and the light of the Advent season more deeply.
Catholic Tradition in the City Parish of St. Oswald
As part of the city church Traunstein, St. Oswald has shaped religious life for centuries: Catholic liturgy, prayer practice, and pastoral care are interconnected with the history of the city. The pastoral team invites you to discover Advent as a path of spirituality in the urban landscape.
