Christianity of the Future: Semester Kick-off with Depth and Dialogue

In a calm atmosphere, a new faith experience begins at the St. Michael Campus: The 1st semester of the 'Christianity of the Future' program invites spiritual deepening, theological orientation, and a spiritual community. Visitors experience a religious experience that connects head and heart.

Spiritual Introduction: Rediscovering Jesus

With a focus on prayer, liturgy, and lived spirituality, the semester leads to a rediscovery of the Jewish Jesus. Participants feel an atmosphere of calm and reflection and gain knowledgeable access to biblical texts that strengthen the Christian-Jewish dialogue.

What to Expect: Five Inspiring Study Afternoons

Every Tuesday from 15:00 to 17:30, speakers will address key questions: How did Jesus’ Jewish identity fade from view? Did Jesus distinguish himself from Judaism? What does Jesus say about Judaism? What was most important to him? What follows from this for today’s faith, church, and theology?

Local Expertise: Theology Grounded and Understandable

Under the direction of the Catholic Education Center Traunstein, Dr. theol. Norbert Reck – a recognized expert author on the Jewish Jesus – provides scientifically grounded approaches in understandable language. This creates a learning environment that combines experience, expertise, and trust.

Place of Encounter: St. Michael Campus

The St. Michael Campus in Traunstein is a unique educational site with strong spirituality. Modern seminar rooms in the Steinhaus foster concentration and a sense of community; the short walk from the train station makes travel easier.

Experience Community: Learn, Discuss, Deepen

Each session strengthens togetherness: brief impulses, time for questions, exchange on faith practice and theology. Cold and hot drinks accompany the lectures; optional excursions complement the program.

Participation and Registration

The semester fee is 175 EUR; all interested parties are welcome, no prior knowledge is required. Registration is through the Catholic Education Center Traunstein.
