Strong Answers Instead of Silence – Argumentation Training in Traunstein

On Saturday, March 7, 2026, the Open Space in Traunstein will transform into a practice arena for clear words and civil courage. In this all-day workshop, participants will train in a hands-on way to confidently respond to right-wing and discriminatory slogans – based on solid foundations, respectfully, and effectively.

Why This Training Matters Now

Who doesn't know it: A saying at the regulars' table, a slogan in the club, a remark within the family – and suddenly there’s a moment of shock. The workshop format addresses exactly that. Using methods from moderation, conversation management, and de-escalation, it sharpens the target group communication and strengthens one’s own position – for an event experience that impacts everyday communication.

Content: From Shock to Strong Response

Warm-up exercises, role plays, reflection: Step by step, manageable strategies against right-wing and racist statements are developed. Participants practice setting boundaries, conveying messages, and positively influencing the audience's mood in discussions – using realistic scenarios from buses, supermarkets, workplaces, or club life.

Organization and Procedure

The seminar lasts from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM including a lunch break with a potluck buffet. The organizers are Henastoibande e.V. and the Alliance Stand Up Against Racism (AgR) Chiemgau. Participation is donation-based. The event planning emphasizes easy access, clear timings, and a safe learning environment.

Atmosphere: Safe Space for Clear Stance

The Open Space provides an attentive ambiance for concentrated work: appreciative, respectful, and dialogue-oriented. This creates a constructive event atmosphere where practicing, failing, and trying again is explicitly encouraged – so that quick-wittedness and stance are maintained even outside the workshop.

Conclusion

What can you expect? Concrete tools, more confidence in discussions, and the good feeling of being able to show your stance. Experience how civil courage can be trained – and take home strategies that work immediately in everyday life.
